The Girl

A while back I posted a review of the Swedish film The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to read the book the film was based on and… wow. Just wow.

As you may remember, I was blown away by the film. Well, the books were even better. Stieg Larsson was an amazing writer. The characters (particularly Lisbeth) are very well constructed, and few of them are flat. Even minor characters are given their moments. As if that wasn’t enough, all three books are also filled with suspense and mystery. Who killed who? Who will be next? There were actually moments where I gasped out loud.

Unfortunately, I don’t have the time to do a long review right now because I have so much work to do for class! Hopefully soon I’ll be able to sit down and blog a bit about what I’m learning about this semester! But while you’re waiting for that (haha) you should really go find copies of these books!
